A dream or vision played an extremely important part in the life of a man. It could be his guide for the role he would assume within the tribe. A vision could also reveal his special helpers and symbols which would protect a warrior in battle. An interpretation of this warrior's vision could be that he rode into battle with enemy bullets thick as hail but he was never struck while a Red-Tailed Hawk flew over him. The hail spots shield him from every bullet, while a Red-Tailed Hawk protects him from danger.
